‎Dikko, Club Owners, others urge  Nigerian clubs to patronize OWU Kits‎


Chairman League Management Company, Malam Shehu Dikko, has  called on Nigerian club sides to change their habits by patronizing Nigeria sportswear manufacturing firms such as Owu Sportswear Ventures.

Dikko, made the call while speaking after he performed the official ribbon cutting opening  of the  new OWU sports  shop  in the heart of Lagos on Wednesday.‎


OWU took a new leap in the business of football merchandise with products of top-flight club’s for sale hoping to cash in on the growing interest in the following of the top division by opening an outlet to cater for the demand of merchandise under its stable.

According to him, teams can generate lots of money from sales of their team replica jerseys as it is applicable abroad and will also create strong fans base for the teams. 

Alloy Chukwuemeka, the General Manager of NPFL returnee ABS FC and Executive Secretary of the Club Owners Association  as well as the  Chairman Wikki Tourists FC, Alhaji Isa Matori, both stated that there's nothing as good as fans coming to watch their darling teams and wearing the team replica jerseys , just as they urged other clubs to key into the Owu kits partnership. ‎

Their positions  were  supported by the 1st vice president of the NFF Barr. Seyi Akinwumi and the pioneer chairman ‎of LMC Hon. Nduka Irabor who also  graced the occasion to support Owu kits brand.

The Nigeria's leading sportswear manufacturer will kit Nigeria Professional Football League teams in the 2016/2017 season scheduled to kick off in January 2017.

CAF Champions League representative, Rivers United FC and CAF Confederation Cup side, Wikki Tourist FC tops the list of players kitted by OWU. 

Others include former Federation Cup champions, Akwa United FC, Remo Stars FC  and ABS FC.‎
