Top brand and sports gaming company Bet9ja were officially unveiled as title sponsors of the Nigeria National League,Thursday in Lagos at the prestigeous Protea Hotel, IKEJA.
The 200,000.000,00 (Two hundred million) three year deal was formaly signed by both parties with Mr.Ayo Ojuroye ,the Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of BET9JA on behalf of his tram, while Chidi Ofor Okenwa signed for the Nigeria National League.
Top brass sport administrators and stakeholders in the sporting industry,were on hand to witness the signing of the Memorandum Of Understanding at the brief event.
BET9JA Chief Executive Officer,Mr.Ayo Ojuroye said the need to join the cue in developing the game,nay sports from the grassroots jingered his company to commit to the NNL
"It is a great feat for us associating with a reputable organization like the Nigeria Football Federation through the Nigeria National League ,sports lovers,stakeholders all have a lot benefit"
Mr.Ojuroye said he is hopeful Bet9ja as a leading brand in spot betting business will get intrinsic value from the partnership with NNL and everyone working towards it.
On his part ,NNL chairman Chidi Ofor Okenwa could not hide his delight at the deal, according to him,"it is a day of history,a new birth,a win - win situation for everyone, the MOST Important League has been taken to the private sector, this obviously means we all have to work harder to sustain this and subsequently attract more sponsors"
"We must all play according to the rules also to make the NNL more attractive,Okenwa concluded.
In attendance were NFF President Amaju Pinnick represented by his first Vice President Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi ,Mr.Kunle Soname Chairman Bet9ja, Bet9ja brand ambassadors Messrs, Victor Ikpeba and Victor Agali.
Others in attendance were, Mr.Abi Adisa of Amara Suites one of the stunch supporters of NNL in hospitality business,former President of the Athletics Fderation of Nigeria,Chief Solomon Ogba ,former Nigerian international Abdul Sule who is the President of all club Presidents.
NNL board members were also fully present at the unveiling ceremony
