Hon Dipo, Member representing Amuwo Odofin at the Lagos State House of Assembly has said the electricity problems troubling Festac, Mile 2, Abule Ado and other major communities in Amuwo Odofin will soon be resolved.
"Yes we have been having issues of power in this area for some time now, its not encouraging because there are businesses, schools, residents that need power daily. We have a communique from the Ministry of Energy to connect all transformers currently not on the national grid."
adding that "We are working with the Ministry which is why I am also using this medium as a representative of my constituency to let the community know, especially the resident associations, that they should please forward the list of power transformers currently not connected to the power grid on or before September 5th, 2018 to my constituency office here, so we can forward it to the Ministry for necessary for them to come connect it to electricity."
Hon Dipo made this known while speaking with some newsmen in his constituency office at 204 road, house 5 festac where the list can also be submitted. He further added that as a representative of the community, his people at the state level, it is his duty to push for better benefits and good amenities for the people of his constituency such as power.
