Coach Nwosu blasts Aliko Dangote over Arsenal takeover

Former Heegan FC coach, Felix Nwosu has faulted Aliko Dangote’s intention to sack Arsene Wenger when he completes Arsenal’s takeover a few years from now.

The 60-year-old businessman isn’t apologetic when he revealed that relieving the French-born tactician will be his first major change at the club, saying the man has contributed his quota to the club and needs to give others a chance to try their luck.

But Nwosu feels such statement from the Africa’s richest man is careless and unnecessary, adding that the north London club board is yet to consent to his interest of buying the club.

“Well, Dangote is rich and we know he can afford anything he wants, but I think he is careless with the statement of sacking the manager. Arsenal owners have not agreed to sell to him, and he is already considering firing their manager,” Nwosu revealed.

“The people who employed him knows the reason they still have him there. He didn’t speak like a businessman he is by the way, we have clubs in Nigeria that needs his money to survive, the National team also needs his money. He continued.

“He can buy a club here and name them Arsenal and bring Welbeck and Sanchez to play for him in the NPFL. Just imagine a 50,000 capacity stadium will be filled to rafters just to watch Arsenal boys playing in local league. Let him invest in Nigeria sports.

“We are talking of buying and growing Nigeria and someone is talking about firing Arsene Wenger, he doesn’t have good adviser on that aspect.

If he wants to own a club, I can lecture him on how to go about it. Dangote group is a big brand in Africa coming into sports will help market it to the world.” He concluded
