Letter of resignation of Mfm head coach Fidelis

HOW TO WRITE A RESIGNATION LETTER

THE MANAGEMENT
Mountain Of Fire Ministries
Lagos.

Sir,

Letter of resignation

I will like to use this opportunity to thank the management and staff of MFM football club of Lagos and to congratulate everyone associated with the club on the successes achieved in the just concluded football season. After achieving this feat, i am fulfilled that one of the promises i made on assumption of office as chief coach of MFM FC has been achieved. That alone has raised my shoulders and left me more fulfilled as a coach.

However, am compelled by necessity as a Christian and a respected member of the MFM family to always stand by my words no matter the consequence.

Before the match with ElKanemi football club of Maiduguri, i made a solemn vow on a National radio that if the match between Borno based Club and our darling club MFM FC was to be broadcast live on Television, my team will defeat their host on home soil right there in Maiduguri. In furtherance of this, i said, i will drop the gauntlet as chief coach of MFM FC, if this pledge doesn't come to pass.

The match has been played and won by the home team and as requested, it was live on National television.

Because i am a man of honour, a devout Christian and an upright personality that always wants to lead by example, i am compelled to stand by my words. I am therefore keeping to my earlier vow, by announcing MY RESIGNATION AS CHIEF COACH OF MFM FC from this 9 day of September, 2017.

I regret all the inconveniences this will bring to the club and wish everyone at MFM FC the very best in their future endeavours especially in next year's CAF Champions league. I beg to honourably bow out at this point.

Sincerely yours,
Fidelis Illechukwu

Chief Coach, MFM FC, Lagos
