my name is Kola Daniel, but Nigeria at large knows me as Leaguemania, I am a radio/vision caster and a trained journalist, I also write for living.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE SPORTS INDUSTRY AS AS A REPORTER ?
I started professionally in the year 2003, and over the years I have worked with lots of media companies and other organizations. In my career, I began as a reporter, then moved to educational sector as a lecturer.. A lot of people passed through me and I am happy to see them grow..
SIR, ON NOVEMBER 24TH 2017, YOU WERE GIVEN THE MERITORIOUS AWARD AS THE BEST PRINT JOURNALIST BY THE FCT SWAN CHAPTER, TELL US ABOUT IT ?
Well, some years now, in my own little way I have been reporting, supporting and encouraging the local league with my reportage from one location to another. But this award came as a surprise to me that Fct Swan decided to give me such an award, recognising what I have been doing in the past to contribute to the development of our football league.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS AWARD ?
Like I earlier stated, I have worked with a lot of companies and organizations but only few of them have recognized me this way. So I felt really happy about it..I was not expecting it but it was a thing of joy. I mean, I am encouraged by this, knowing that my efforts are recognized.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR THE YOUNG GENERATION OUT THERE ?
They should be patient, work hard, dream big, be honest, polite to friends and above all be intelligent.
