Ahead of their encounter with Synergy Ultimate in the second round stage of this year's Lagos State FA Cup competition on Saturday, the management of Buruj Sports Academy are looking to watch their players closely and critically before forwarding the finalist of those who will make it to their upcoming Euro trip.
This much was revealed by the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, who also disclosed that his management will extend olive branch to players from other academies who are good enough and have the full backing of their management in terms of sponsorship to seize the opportunity to market their potentials abroad.
According to him, three players from Saphire are already on the list after their management embraced that gesture.
"We are on the verge of forwarding the final list of 22 players to the organisers but we will use our participation in the FA Cup to put final touches on it. We have good players that will form the neucleous of the team but we want to extend our hands of friendship to other clubs or academies who have eligible players to express their potentials in such big tourneys. "
"Our technical department will be on the look out both within our team and from opposing teams and if we can strike deal, why not? ", he concluded rethorically
