Leave Enyeama alone - Abudullahi Biffo

As far as football coaching is concerned in Nigeria, the name of Abdullahi Usman Biffo is not a pushover considering what he has achieved since he started his coaching career.

Biffo, who is from Ilorin West in Kwara State started his coaching career in 2005, and he has handled teams like defunct Giwa FC, Kwara United, Niger Tornadoes and Abia Warriors.

His name came to limelight in the Nigeria's top flight when he promoted Giwa FC to the NPFL years back, but achieved the same feat with Niger Tornadoes two years back after the club had spent years in the second tier.

Last season, Abudullahi Biffo was in charge of NPFL side Abia Warriors, and he has shared his experiences in the Premier League with Journalists in Ilorin.

"Firstly, I want to thank Ambassador Chris Giwa for the opportunity he gave me to serve, but I'm not happy with where the club is now because Giwa is a man who has spent his hard earned money to develop football in Nigeria.

"Secondly, my contract has expired at Abia Warriors, and that was why I travelled to America after the end of the season for a course, and I am happy to be back.

" I have not signed any deal yet with any club, but talks are on with many NPFL sides, and I'm sure very soon, things will be sorted," Biffo told Journalists in Ilorin

There are talks among many Nigerian football pundits about the return of Vincent Enyeama to the national team, and Biffo is of the opinion that Gernot Rohr should give other goalkeepers the chance.

"Why are we disturbing ourselves about Enyeama? I think he officially announced his international retirement, and I think he should come out first to confirm his readiness before we take it from there.

"But for me, Nigeria is a country blesses with lots of talent, and we have many goalkeepers better than Enyeama, but have not been given the chance," Biffo explained.

Abdullahi Biffo holds B.SC in physical Heath education, advanced diploma in football coaching, level 1 licence in Brazil and also a CAF B licence
