It's no longer news that the finals of this year's Delta fa cup was inconclusive due to the refusal of Delta stars to continue play after a goal was scored against them from a corner kick claiming that the ball had gone out for a goal kick instead of the corner and the technical crew led by Larry Etale ordered the players out and went gaga in presence of the chief executive of the sports commission, commission members, Chief Solomon Ogba, and other distinguished quests around.
The same coach Larry Etale led some unknown people to beat up one of the referees at the hotel same night and the club management defended that by saying "Thugs " were responsible for the actions, well good a thing that they are letting the world know that the technical crew headed by Larry Etale is made up of thugs.
Must the technical crew exhibit their ignorance for the laws of the game in presence of sports administrators and their bosses? They should have shown some iota of respect for the sports commission boss by conducting themselves in a professional manner.
What happened was not only disgraceful but a dint to the sporting image of Delta state where the football federation president hails from and thereby totally unacceptable.
It's no news that they have a penchant for indiscipline or how would one explain the actions of " Envious " coach Oneigbe's actions during their NNL match against Delta force which was totally unsportsmanlike.
My prayer is that they don't take this attitude of theirs to the NNL or else they would be putting other people's lives in danger.
Well, I would not blame them because when kabu kabu coachitos that cant pass asphysical trainers in youth clubs or academy are patronized then such garbage should be expected.
