Golden Eaglets star Yusuf Otubanjo aims for Super Eagles call-up in 2019

Yusuf Otubanjo (born 12 September 1992) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for LASK Linz as a striker.

Former Nigeria U23 star Yusuf Olaitan Otubanjo Thursday signed a three-year contract with Slovak Superliga side Mestsky Sportovy Klub Zilina, otherwise known as MSK Zilina.

The striker who recently got married to his longtime girlfriend in Lagos (Click here if you missed it) moves to Slovakia after a fruitful time in Austria.

Otubanjo, who scored an impressive 28 goals in the just concluded Austrian Regionalliga Mitte season to help Blau Weiss Linz FC secure promotion to the second division, said he was happy with the offer from MSK Zilina, adding it would be another opportunity for him to show what he can do in another country.

A member of the Golden Eaglets that won Silver medal when Nigeria hosted the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2009, had in the past featured for Atletico Madrid youth team as well as others in the Austrian league including FC Pasching from FC Red Bull Salzbur.
