LAGOS STATE PRISONS COMMAND GETS A NEW CP

The Lagos state prisons public relations officer DSP Biyi Jeje has announced to a team of journalists in their state Head quarters that the command now has a new controller, in the person of CP kate Ononye.

CP Kate Ononye with her wealth of experience has served the Nigerian prisons service at various capacities, she is known with her high standards and good integrity.

She was transferred from Abia State Prison Command, Umuahia to Lagos State on the 3rd of May 2013 to replace CP Oguntuase Abayomi who has been at the helm of affairs of the state command since 2010.

CP Kate Ononye assumed duty at the Lagos state prisons command on the 20th of May 2013 and has promised to enhance service delivery and take the command to a higher level of progress.

She emphasized that failure will not be entertained in the state prisons command, she also pointed out that success, achievement and progress are her watchwords.

She stated that she is committed to the command therefore solicits the support of all the staffers for effective and efficient performance, she also acknowledged the fact that she will welcome meaningful contribution from other organizations, press and the general public who wishes to collaborate with the Nigerian prisons service.
