Mighty Soccer Stars Football Academy in Ijebu Ode players
spoke recently with Esther Egbe about their career in MSS, challenges and
aspiration which include; Daniel and Toluwani
Adugyanfi Daniel 13
years old from Ghana who played outside left, said playing in Nigeria is great,
my parents lives here, I love Nigeria because of my team MSS FA,my parents are
in total support of my career football, my life is football
He added that his mentor is Ajen Robben, he played for Red
Bule football Academy in Ghana,I grow up watching him,I want to be better than
him.
Daniel one of the youngest
player in MSS, said that his greatest aspiration is to play for Ghana Football
is more better than in Nigeria, it’s because football is all about politics
here.In Nigeria style Money speaks more than people with skills. There are some
good players that are supposed to be pick in the National team, when the player
doesn’t have cash or connection, they will dropped the player, bribing and
corruption in the game, if am given an opportunity to play for any National team,
I will love to play for my Country (Ghana)football,Ghana is the best in African
.Ghana has more Scout and agent than Nigeria, here scouts are dishonest and
rely on bribes and also grateful for being part of Mss player and Coach Yonks
is like a father coach to him, since my father passed on, he told him to take
care of me.
While the second player who is travelling to Dubai soon, Adekanmbi
Toluwani Samuel is 17 years old,its been great playing for MSS ,he left Glorious Football Academy in Abeokuta, because
, don't like their style of the game, also played for Olukunle Fc,before he came
to MSS in Ijebu Ode,since he joined Mss there have been improvement in his game
and learnt new skill to perform on field of play,am grateful to Coach Yonks for
every way he has change his world.
I have so much passion for football and have being playing
since I was a kid, despite the fact I do play for fun before,
Toluwani mentioned that he he started playing as fun,he always had fans anytime he play, although he from a Polygamous family, everybody wants him to
go to school and stop ball ,but all thanks to my stars and creator for his
infinite mercy, quite stubborn and never gave up on his career irrespective of what his parents says
or do to him.
The Mss player who is about to travel, said being a Nigerian is a blessing,am lucky
guy,its been hell for me on the field of play each time,I play under the
unbearable condition(Climatic Conditions)with no proper food and medications,
there’s a universal saying "African Footballers Are Not Lucky"Its
quite funny and sound weird, but it’s just the bitter truth, we have issues
with our Scouts here in Nigeria and the board of association at large, we need
their help, our career is our life, our fate and future.
The seventeen years old said that, he wish to play for his
Country, and make his daddy proud some day,to represent his Country and other
part of the World is my greatest aspiration,he pray God helps and favours him,
He stated that when he retired from pitch, he has plans to
invest in Agriculture to help his family, and also raise his younger siblings and most especially
his friends who had stand by him, when the going was unpleasant, read my goal and achieved some certain glory
in my career."So Help Me God".
