ANTHONY VILLAGE CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE IN STYLE

Independence day in Nigeria was a very busy day for Nigerian all over the federation because it is a day to remember how we became free from our colonial masters in those days, basically Nigerian are celebrating the freedom of our land and how we starting to take control of the leadership without fear or favour from an external body or from being control by the great Britain. In that same spirit Anthony Village youth has been organizing this Independence Day over three years now, this year was the bomb they came out in grant style by bringing together the entire youths, children and some adults in different streets the area to celebrate the freedom of our beloved country Nigeria and show case their talents at Bola-Odunlami junction,Anthony village which was supposed to start by 4p.m,but because of the heavy down pour that day,the time was moved to 5:30 pm the celebration with green and white presented by Effekt creative, money making machine.Artists that was present at the celebration were Black flare,Era on top,Kasty,K.Kenny,Kris-Mo,Kuty Ijaya,Lord U D,Mc Virus,MastsT,McKffey,Molion.C,Walex y,Ditty Blaq,B.N.S,Rocks Steady,Gidi Boys,Revolution dance group,George Uk,Smark,Dj Kswitch,Skool boy,Dj Thumgba,Black 2,Dj Thunder and lot more.

Speaking with some of the organizers and people who performed that day: one of the organizer Dayo Obende Pendo ,am presently working with a company owned by my friends and I, we choose to celebrate Nigeria’s independence on every 1^stOctober,because we believe maybe ,if the country in a big way, this is our own little way of  celebrating the Nation. We really need God’s intervention, like our themes every years is Nigeria today, tomorrow and yesterday is past, and we believe in history today is been threatened by so many things name it Boko Haram bad roads, bad leaders and many things, Anthony village is celebrated the future, the hope of the nation, we are future of tomorrow children that why we are celebrating our country. Our three major of objective is this ,celebrating the country ,inspiring patronizing and youth believe in the younger one from the next 15years would trying to do better thing to come, we are pleading for God intervention to come in and do something for us. This is our own story Nigeria today, tomorrow and forever. If God will move you better for us contribute to the development of the country that is what we are celebrate the hope of the nation.

We are Lord U D an upcoming artist, am the CEO of money making machine and also part of the committee member crew of the organizers, we are here to celebrate Naija at 51 and the reason why we are organizing this is because is just to get the youth together make them see reasons why they should come together to work hand to hand to make Nigeria great, peaceful, successful more entertaining country and make the youth see reasons that Nigeria can be better. So this year event much more performance, we are bringing more people showcase what you get, everything we have together to make Nigeria better place in the world, as a fashion designer and a singer.

Oluwaseun Adeola Osundairo, I think this program is very good for bringing different mind to come in one umbra and entertainment one. The one they did last year was very okay and this year is almost Nigeria at 51years is not a small thing I hope next year will be greater. The impact of the program is important to Anthony Village Youth to remember not give up their dream, no matter what happen in the journey of life experience. Thing will only come out well in future,

Teey one of the Artist that performed that day said he came to show case his talent which is singing and to support the community in the celebration of Naija at 51,it is not an easy journey but there is still more better days .

One of the most youngest comedian in Anthony village called M.C Virus,real name is Nurudeen Ibrahim who just graduated from Aladura Comprehensive High school this year said he came to crack jokes because I think it is a way of life.He revealed that why he is into comedian business is because Nigeria are very serious people,jokes make one feel relax and happy to ease the stress the people go through every day, I was inspired by A.Y my mentor. I came here to make people laugh their mouth out with my jokes, since Nigeria are too serious about life.

During the celebration even parents were there to see their kids performed, the parents too were part of the show because they were called upon to dance which they did very well. This program was financed by organizers and supported by the individuals and corporate body in Anthony Village mainly,the encourage the young ones of the community.
