Recently, one Blessing Sunday fell from the bridge in Anthony Village, according to mechanical guy under the bridge. Who refuse to tell our reporter his name that
When our reporter visited the scene where the incident happened she was told different things that lead to her falling down. A vulgarizer name Tunde said on that faithful day he came to where he work that morning and he discovered that somebody was laying down on the floor, on the night before its rained cat and dog, but this lady did not moves, so some passersby decided to called someone to help them doing business there so that police will not come and arrest people.
A Bike man who lives in Anthony Village called Jilili said that morning he came to drop a customer under Anthony Village, when he notice that some someone was on the floor in the pool of her blood, so he decided to called on Hon.Bayo Ogunsanwo, the Councilor of Anthony Village to come to their rescue before the police will come and arrest innocent people, as soon as he was called upon he came immediately.
Another source told our reporter that it was before her boyfriend cheated on her that was why she wanted to killed herself.
Mrs. Mercy Sunday is the mother of Blessing, she said that my daughter (Blessing Sunday) fell off the bridge onto the express way at Anthony bus-stop. She was left in a pool of her blood and rain water (it rained heavily all through the night) for over 9 hours my daughter laid on the floor with a fractured jaw, legs and arms. But she still clung to precious life.
She continues according to eyes witness a call was put to Councilor Bayo and he rushed to the scene still in his pajamas. After trying for some minutes to get an ambulance unsuccessfully, Councilor Bayo seized at big nylon from a provisions seller, wrapped my bleeding daughter in it, and called a police officer as an escort and speed off to various hospitals (who kept on rejecting my daughter). Finally, he took her to LUTH and after shouting and causing some necessary commotion and paying some money, her life was saved! He even left his car for us to use for the whole day without knowing us before then.
The young lady who lives at3 Branco St., Off Mafoluku Road said she did know what lead to that action, the only thing she can remember was that she heard a voice that spoke to her to jump down from that bridge, she told national daily reporter that she was mentally sickness when that incident happened but now she is very well.
She added that the Councilor was a great help to the family and he still visit them often to check if she is okay with her health.
When national daily visited the Councilor, he told our reporter that helping people is something he enjoying doing for humanity, which is the only way to appreciate God for life, concerning the Blessing Sunday was fell from the bridge, her own case was different case.
On the day it happened, he was still sleeping when he was called upon, when he rushed to the scene with his Pajamas, try everything to save the girl’s life, even the general were very annoying, if not for his connection with the ministry of health, the young lady whom have just passed away like that, but we thank God that the case is different case.
