NBBF RESCHEDULES DSTV AND POSTPONES ZENITH LEAGUE COMMENCEMENT

            As a result of representation by many clubs in the DStv Men’s and Zenith Bank Women’s League concerning  financial challenges which led to only a few of them meeting the registration deadline few days from the start of the new season, the Nigeria Basketball Federation, in consultation  with their sponsors, Multichoice/DStv and Zenith Bank Plc respectively, has rescheduled  the start of the DStv League from 13^th to 20^th March, 2015, while the Zenith  League Phase 1 earlier slated for 15^th – 25^th March is now postponed until the third week of April (after the elections).  Accordingly, a new game schedule will be issued.

2.         The federation is confident that this development will afford teams the time to conclude all arrangements for the new season as well as afford all parties the opportunity to meet their obligations.
