EMEKA NWACHINEMERE SET TO LAUNCH KITOVU, NIGERIA’S PREMIER MOBILE APP
In 2016, TOTAL launched a competition called the Africa Startupper Challenge 2016 where some Nigerian innovators competed by showcasing their projects. 1,943 projects were submitted and evaluated out of which 3 were selected.
Emeka is the second runner up of Total Nigeria 2016 Startupper Challenge. He innovated KITOVU; a multilingual mobile application that creates market access for farmers through linking them with buyers seeking high quality produce that are traceable. Emeka, alongside the other two best projects received the Startupper Award by Total on April 22, 2016, incubation training courses and financial assistance to launch their businesses with the aim of creating employment and boosting the Nigerian economy.
