FAMILY OF DILLY HAS BEEN DENY RIGHT TO CARRY CORPSE OF THEIR SON

The family of Dilly cried out for justice to be done on their son’s case at Ijanikin Division Police Station, the young man who was arrested during when he became unconscious, eventually died in the cell.
The twins of Mrs. Shadiya Sodiq, the girls have actually confessed that they were not raped after he has been beaten up by area boys. Gbenga Dilly, the first son of the family said see how the police can be myopic and selfish.t
After the Death of Akinlere Dilly, the family has not been allowed to carry his Corpse. After all said and done, the family still went to inform the community on how Akinlere was killed, thinking they will help in the case ,which they did but stopped half way.
When National Daily visited the house of Dilly, it was discovered that the family has been putting all effort to make sure that the young man reserve a peaceful burial ceremony.
Recent, the case has been move to Ikeja High Court 5,since the matter the accused women and the Ijanikin polices that was in charge during when Akinlere was arrested at that station.
Shade Dilly told our reporter after when the case has been adjourned to 6th, February 2012, because the accused woman Mrs.Shadiya Sodiq who order area boys to beat up Akinlere to coma, did not show up in court and all the police men on duty during his stay in the cell.
Despite all the efforts, the DPO of Ijanikin has been transfer after so much pressure, cause of the death of Dilly 
Gbenga Chuks Dilly is the first born of the Chief Dilly family; he said the case is taking forever to come into conclusion. The case that was supposed to start on the 9th of January,2012 was postpone because of the strike to 23rd of January 2012 and now the accused did not show up at the court.
They will see to the end of this matter, because justice must be done.
