CLIFFORD ORJI DIED A PEACEFUL DEATH--------------PRO OF LAGOS PRISON BIYI

Clifford Orji one of the most popular  Lagos-based human eater was arrested by Nigerian Police force in Feb. 1999 under a bridge off Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.
Passer-by who becomes aware of a weird commotion under the popular bridge coded to the police. On the day he was arrested, a cheque totaling N88, 000, women underwear, freshly roasted human flesh and human bones were found on the spot. On the day of his arrest, he acted as if he’s insane however further examination revealed he’s faking the madness. It was later revealed that ritualists put him under the bridge to find victims, kill them and sell their body parts for ritualism.
Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Prison Command Mr.Biyi Jeje revealed that He died in his sleep on Friday the 17th of August; 2012.Clifford Orji has his own medical. The man in question died peaceful, when he was sleeping as at Thursday he was strong and hearty, he died in his bed while he was sleeping immediately the medical team attended to him, as I speak to you the autopsy is being expected and he is body is in the mortuary, there was no problem as to rejected who said Orji’s death in died in his sleep.
He said on Thursday Orji was fine but on Friday morning, he died in his sleep. The cause of death is still unknown but an autopsy would be performed,” he said.
Orji it was arrested shortly after he was caught with what were allegedly human parts and later remanded in prison custody on court orders. The Kirikiri Prison authorities however claimed his mental case got worse. It was gathered that medical analysis carried out on him showed that he was mentally deranged and prison authorities tried to take him to mental hospitals for treatment but he was rejected. I don’t understand from the press as regarding to Clifford Orji death. An autopsy is being performed to ascertain the real cause of Orij’s death and the result would also be made public.

Clifford has a mental problem, which we did everything humanly possible to attend to it, because he was actually rejected three times from different psychiatric ho hospital, we even took him to Yaba Psychiatric Hospital that was  what happened issue of mental  problem which he was rejected what the doctors claimed  that they don’t have long term medical facilities that was why they cannot attend to Clifford ,but someone who has been with us for the past twelve years  before he kicked the bucket. So we have done everything under our power to keep him and it has been ok. Until his death, he died a normal death, not that he was poison or killed in prison, we have standard hospital in the prison.
